I understand and agree that:

All facts I have provided on this application, in any resume or other materials I have submitted, during any job interview are true and complete. Any false or misleading statement, misrepresentation, or omission of fact(s) on this application, withdrawing any offer of employment, or immediate discharge, regardless of when such false statement, misrepresentation, or omission is discovered.
Any offer of employment I may receive from Oceaneering International, Inc (together with its subsidiaries and affiliated entities, the “Company”) is contingent upon my successful completion of the total pre-employment screening process and new hire in-processing, including the Company’s receipt of references that it considers satisfactory,
I authorize the Company or the Company’s agent, at any time prior to or during my employment, to: (a) investigate my references and employment record; (b) communicate with my former employers provided as references;
Subject to any applicable agreements and policies with such employers and individuals, I authorize and request that all of my present and former employers and those individuals I have listed as references furnish information about my employment record, including the reason for the termination of my employment, work performance, abilities, and other qualities pertinent to my qualifications for employment. I hereby release them and the Company from any and all liability for damages arising from furnishing the requested information.
I agree that upon termination of my employment I will return all Company property and records in my possession.

Personal or professional references may be required upon request.

OCEANEERING PRIVACY STATEMENT

Personal data includes every data that (directly or indirectly) can identify a person. Your name or telephone number qualify as personal data, but also your date of birth or your e-mail address. Your personal data will be processed by Oceaneering AGV Systems B.V. (part of Oceaneering AGV Systems Holding B.V.) for the purpose of her recruitment and selection procedure. We have a legitimate interest to process your personal data, because without this data we cannot assess whether or not you are suitable for the position that you have applied for.

The Processing of Your Personal Data

Oceaneering collects and processes personal data of job applicants by asking the applicants to fill out certain data on her recruitment website and/or to upload a motivation letter/curriculum vitae. Oceaneering also collects and processes personal data of job applicants by personal contacts, telephone conversations and/or e-mail. A few examples of personal data of job applicants are: contact details of the job applicant (name, gender, address, language, etcetera), education history of the job applicant (school, training courses, etcetera) and the employment history of the job applicant (former employer, references, etcetera).

Retention Period

In case you have not been selected for the position that you have applied for, we will immediately delete your personal data, but at the latest 4 weeks after the recruitment and selection procedure has been completed, unless we have obtained your permission to save your personal data for a longer period.

The Use of This Site

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your visit to and the use of our website and to prevent abuse. All persons who are authorized to take note of your personal data on behalf of Oceaneering, are bound to strict confidentiality.

Your Rights

You have the right to request for inspection of your personal data or to request to add, correct or delete your personal data. If you send us such request, we will inform you about the actions we have taken as soon as possible, but at the latest within 2 weeks after having received your request.
